Naturally Engaging Newsletters

Writing Regular Newsletters...

...so you don't have to!

Many people find the thought of writing regular newsletters both onerous and far too time-consuming. Luckily, there's a simple solution to your newsletter problems — or your lack of one!

My copywriting service saves you so much time. You only need to spend 30 minutes or so a month (or fortnight, or whatever regularity you need) talking with me about the next newsletter topic. Not even that if you have the information to email across. Then leave the rest to me!

Newsletters are a really cost-effective addition to your marketing gambit. Written well, they help your audience remain engaged with your business, ideally to the point where they can't wait for your next issue.

Depending on your brand tone of voice, we will develop the right style for your newsletters. Serious or light-hearted, short and punchy, or written in a narrative style, I'll write your newsletters in a way that your customers and contacts will relate to.

What to expect when you work with me:

First, we’ll discuss your needs, exploring what your objectives are, how many contacts you have, and what newsletter mailing platform you use, if any. If you’re not clear on what you need, I can offer suggestions. Then we can plan how to work together to make your life as easy as possible.

I'll then work out costs and timings based on your requirements. Once they're agreed, we can brainstorm the topics. Then I'll create a newsletter schedule for the first six months at a minimum. A year is usually better and helps to keep us all on track.

Consistency is key!

“Jen’s been writing my monthly newsletters for nearly two years and this has been a game changer for my business. She does an incredible job of turning my words into something special that I feel really proud of yet still sounds like me. I’m always thanking Jen for keeping me on track because that is exactly what Jen does for me – if it wasn’t for her regular reminders and constant support, my newsletters may be a bit too sporadic!

Things to consider:

  • Frequency: depending on your business, you may want to send weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or bi-monthly newsletters to your contacts. Remember – the more you send, the more topics and content we need!

  • Adding value: newsletters are informative and helpful, providing advice for your readers. They're not for making sales ... yet! People tend to respond positively to newsletters that sound like they’re from a friend rather than a corporation.

  • Sharing your expertise: your readers will soon discover that you're an expert in what you do, building trust in you and your business.

  • 10% Sales: newsletters should be 90% informative and only 10% sales. So, I'll add in your next event or workshop, or highlight your latest new product – whatever you need to promote – at the end along with a strong CTA (Call to Action).
